Alloy Wheels and The Big Stick™

Some trailers feature alloy (aluminum) wheels for enhanced beauty and lighter weight.  There are two predominate types used:

The first is a trailer style which has a flat face around the lug nuts.  It also features wheel studs that protrude beyond the face of the wheel.  The Big Stick™ will work with this type of wheel.  If your wheel studs do not protrude past the face of the wheel far enough (approx. 1 ½” depending on your lug nut height) consult your local trailer or automotive parts store for possible replacement wheel studs that do.  You will need the proper amount of flat surface on the face of the wheel (7” diameter minimum) for proper and safe fitment and operation of the Big Stick™.

The other type is an automotive style wheel.  It features as wheel surface that is cast into a unique frontal surface.  The wheel studs on this type of wheel are inset.  The Big Stick™ will not work with this type of wheel.  The Big Stick™ needs a flat surface to mate to for proper and safe fitment and operation.
